Are you now or do you plan to be a homeschooler in Alabama?
yes
How long have you homeschooled?
since my kids were born. They are nearly 7, 4 and a 5 mo. old.
What cover school are you enrolled in?
we will join a cover this fall. I'm leaning toward Everest Academy
Tell us a little about yourself, your family, your homeschooling experiences, or anything else cool you would like to say!
We praise God that he's given us the opportunity to educate our children at home according to their individual styles and abilities. We follow the Moore formula which equally weights study, work and service to others. Our latest family project has been raising rare-breed chickens.

Awesome!! Where about are you guys located? We might have to swap-out chicks down the road...LOL! Do you have BC Marans? I just gave away a rooster to some guy out in the Calera area--of course, I got rid of him because he wouldn't come out of the coop! Didn't seem to have any interest in managing his flock of 5 hens, so he went and we put our other roo out there who had been caged separately since they started fighting. He seems to be working out nicely so far.

I have set up my own website, but I certainly am no a pro at it. All that I've learned has been self-taught, so I frequently have "work-arounds" to get what I want instead of the truly correct way to code it.

Cool--another "chicken person"! What rare breeds do you raise? We have a variety of rather typical breeds in our laying flock, but I hatched true Ameraucana and Black Copper Marans last spring. We're planning to breed those, as well as cross them for some Olive-eggers. Look forward to meeting you sometimes soon!
